| JDE Report Writer Job Title: JDE Report Writer Position Type: Permanent Pay Rate: negotiable POSITION SUMMARY: The entry level Report Writer will support reporting needs for all business applications and specifically for JDE Enterprise One 8.11. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES: The principle responsibilities of the Report Writer consist of, but are not limited to, the following: • Creation of reports using Oracle Enterprise One (ERW) as the primary report writing application. • Creation of reports using Bottomline’s CreateForm • Creation of reports using Microstrategy • Database maintenance related to existing and new reports including but not limited: stored procedures, views, optimizing existing queries for custom reports and application needs. • Working with end users to define report requirements and specifications. • Working with the Quality Assurance team to test new reports or modifications. • Working with the CNC Administrator to integrate the reports into the applications. • Maintain and ensure compliance of all policies, guidelines, and procedures, as established by the Corporate IS Department, including use of the Change Management system. • Ensure the security of company data and systems. • Maintain knowledge of current technologies. • Maintain awareness of business related trends, advances, and improvements. • Represent the company in a professional manner. PREFERRED JOB SKILLS: • 1 year experience with Oracle Enterprise One report writing and business functions. (Formally People Soft/JD Edwards One World/Enterprise One) • 1-3 yrs extensive experience in analysis, design, and development OMW, ERW and BSFN • Knowledge and ability to read, understand and modify ANSI C, C++ and SQL. • 1 year with Microsoft SQL Server • Strong communication skills and ability to work with a wide spectrum of technical expertise • Associates or Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, or related field | |
