Assistant Account Executive

Job Responsibilities : Develop increased knowledge of new communication trends and apply to influential engagement. Contribute ideas and brainstorm on top story strategies. Develop and coordinate Production of client materials including briefing books, clip reports, status reports, email correspondence, press releases, fact sheets, media alerts, presentations, etc. Research, create and manage media lists, editorial and speaker program calendars. Craft and customize pitches for appropriate targets, as well as manage and fulfill reactive requests. Research, compile and analyze relevant or Industry specific data/information and draft reports/ memos/ analysis as needed. Implement internal/external events. Coordinate projects (setting up meetings, capturing action items, following status)Develop a thorough understanding and knowledge of team and clients business and competitive environment. Maintain project files and records to ensure completeness, accuracy and easy retrieval of information. Read and flag coverage offering in-depth analysis and strategic recommendations based on Industry knowledge. Continue to develop and share point of view. Draft action emails, attend team meetings, and compose recaps for internal and external clients. Research & share other team activities for best practices. Write, review and edit various sources of information. Anticipate team needs, providing the highest level of proactive support. Attend and participate in assigned team Staff meetings; summarize meeting and action items as requested. Follow through on deliverables and close the loop with appropriate parties on action taken. Understand and apply a sense of urgency appropriate to both internal team deadlines and to all clients time-sensitive needs. Assists team with special projects as needed. Job Requirements : A BA/BS degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, English or related field. Experience Preferred:AC experience requirements and:Minimum 1-3 years of Integrated Communications, Marketing, Communications or media experiences. 2-3 years preferred. Strong presentation and research skills. Developed written materials that are organized, professional and conciseUnderstands of the role the media and how Integrated Communications provides valueDemonstrated Client Service orientationStrong organizational skills and demonstrated ability to multi-task and balance prioritiesHigh level of initiativeAbility to meet business needs of the team and business: coverage reporting, timesheets, etcResourceful and able to get good results consistently.
